January: Native tree nursery project
The 5th and 6th graders plant 150 seedlings and got 30 baby trees from the first round. They will now plant again.
December: Learning environment activated by noise control and thermal insulation.
Installation of 1200 m² of floor covering in the hallways of Block E of the high school section to benefit approximately 900 students, as well as 20 seating islands in the corridors for an active learning environment.
December 2018: Installation of 4410 m² of floor covering and 20 seating islands in the hallways of Block D of the high school section.
October: Noise protection measures, thermal insulation, ventilation of classrooms, installation of energy-saving lighting systems.
Construction measures benefiting approximately 900 students: acoustic insulation of ceilings and walls, LED lamps and new doors in 61 classrooms, and corridors of block D of the high school section.
June: Tree planting activity combined with biodiversity preservation.
146 students from the higher grades plant their respective course trees and have fun doing this work.
As of April: Environmentally conscious paper use.
Our Administration also participates in our environmentally conscious initiatives and uses environmentally friendly paper made from sugarcane (chlorine and acid-free) instead of white paper, saving 98.93% of its use. This action alone saves 157.8 trees per year.
March: Educators’ initiative: Kindergarten “Green Day”.
The kindergarten organizes together with 360 children a “Green Day” to plant trees and handmade products made of natural materials to strengthen environmental awareness.
January – March 2018: tree planting activity linked to preserving biodiversity.
Approximately 1,950 students, parents, and teachers plant trees and make handmade products 1,100 native trees and shrubs are on the school grounds.
