1931: The German School quickly achieved remarkable progress and great prestige. In 1931 its creation was formalized as a non-profit organization under the name “Deutscher Schulverein (German School).”
1935: In 1935, the German School awarded high school diplomas to its first students, thus allowing them to enter national universities. Simultaneously, the school obtained permission from German educational authorities to give the corresponding essential secondary education exams, “Mittlere Reife,” with good results.
1938: In 1938, the acquisition of a plot of 27,115 square yards was achieved, in the “El Retiro” neighborhood, for the subsequent construction of a complex of buildings with pedagogical specifications. However, political problems that arose due to the start of the Second World War truncated that purpose.
